ThisIsMe Blog: #16: APPLE HAS A NEW CEO? WHATS GOING ON? ~ April 20th, 2026

 Hey Everyone! 

Welcome back to another blog, today we are going to talk about one important thing! 

Today when I got off at work at 4 my mom texted me saying "Bye Tim Apple" and I had no idea what she meant so I called my dad and asked him about it and he told me that Tim Cook was retiring and was going to be executive chairman and giving the position to John Ternus. To be honest with you I'm not surprised because I have been seeing a lot of talk online about Tim Cook stepping down as CEO and giving this job to John. 

I dont know much about John Ternus but I do know he works directly under Tim and I have seen him in the WWDC videos and I think he does a good job at what he does. I think he will do a great job as CEO because if this has been coming for a while then he most be prepared enough to study underneath Tim. 

There has also been a lot of news at apple around people retiering and leaving apple to work for other companies and retiring in general. I will be interested to see who he recruits for the design teams and product line ups! 

Tim Cook is going to become chairman and John Ternus will be come CEO on September 1st and dont forget that the next WWDC is going to be on June 9th and the new product releases will be in September so it seems like John has a lot to do for that! 

Since I had a feeling this was going to happen, I never expected it to be this soon! I was expecting till the end of the year or the beginning of next year. Oh well! 

At least people will be happy with this choice and people will like John. I know I will! I am also reading an article about this and it says that "Cook will continue his role as CEO through the summer as he works closely with Ternus on a smooth transition" Apple said in a press release.

It basically says whats going on and how Tim was so happy to work with everyone and how everyone will like John. ETC. 

As we sign off for this blog I do want to say that in my personal opinion apple is making the right choice, I also think that John will be a great CEO and so has Tim and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Apple and there amazing community.

This Is Me Blog #8: What have you missed? ~ Saturday May, 24th, 2025!

 Hey guys! Welcome back to another blog! It has been a while since my last blog! So here is what you have missed! the Tik Tok ban is still in affect but its back in the App Store! I have created an account and the name is @this.is.me8263 So go fallow me on there to see updates and other fun stuff! Also Lemon8 and CapCut are back on the App Store as well! I will be posting behind the scenes for my videos on TikTok. Today I am at a Starbucks editing videos but my AirPods died so I'm waiting for them to charge.
