This Is Me Blog #15 LETS GO TO NYC! 🗽

Hey Everyone! 

Welcome back to another blog! Today is April 11th and I am in The Big Apple! NYC! This is my last day at NYC! 

It has been a bit since I posted my last blog, but I am going to post this one tonight! So let me tell you about my trip in New York! So where I left off last time was Easter April 5!

On April 6, I had a nice chill day. We went shopping and I met a friend for a late lunch! That was really fun! And then I uploaded my reading of my blog you’ll see that on my YouTube channel! And then I went to a friend’s house and then I went back and went to bed!

On April 7, it was snowy! Here is a picture!

Then I started packing because we were leaving for New York that day! By the time I finished up packing, the snow had stopped and it had cleared up! So then I went to a friend‘s house and chilled for a bit and got some lunch! And then we got driven to the train station and got on the train and headed off to NYC! The train ride was a little bit long. It was about a few hours! 

But you know me I was editing and also watching Marvel! Could anyone guess what movie I was watching? If you guess Captain America, the first avenger, you are right! Because do you remember in that scene where at the end of the movie that little snippet where Steve Rogers is in Times Square and he’s looking around and Nick fury is there and that’s all I’ll say! I wanted to see if I could get that scene, but I didn’t have enough time! 

Because I was too busy editing! And then we got off the train and went to our hotel! And then we tried to go to this place for dinner called the Stardust diner but the line was too long and we had a show to go to so we went to a place called juniors which was really good and I had this open turkey sandwich, which was four pieces of bread at the bottom and turkey and gravy on top and then the side of cranberry sauce! Those you who don’t know, 

I’m a huge fan Thanksgiving and I love Thanksgiving food and this was up my alley! And then we went to the show and the show was… Two strangers carrying cake through New York City! That was my mom‘s pic! And it was really good! After that, we went back to our hotel room and we fell asleep!

On April 8th…    

At 9:45 in the morning, we went to the museum of Broadway, which is really cool looking! And then around 11 to 12 Ish, we went back to the Stardust restaurant and we finally got a seat! And the line wasn’t as long as last time! And then we went to the M&M store and we also walked around the Rockefeller Plaza! And then at 2 PM to seven we saw Stephen Colbert! 

We had to wait in long lines and I was so cold that I was shivering and my back started to hurt! But it was really fun! I’m not going to spoil it, but it was definitely a one and done situation! And then we went to a somewhat of a bakery, kind of and we were hungry! 

So I got a margarita pizza my mom got a pepperoni pizza and we got a raspberry croissant and a raspberry something else! And we carried it back to the hotel room and we wanted to watch the TV but our TV wasn’t working! Yes, I was trying to figure out how to work the TV! As a tech genius I am! And then we ate the food and went to bed!

Today is April 9th and this is what we did today! 

This morning we woke up and went to Barnard because there was a college tour there that we were going on! However, I didn’t go on the tour. I stayed back because my back was hurting from last night because it was so cold and I was shivering and like I said before every time I shiver my back starts to hurt! So I wasn’t up for walking the tour today! 

So I just chilled in the lobby and waited for my mom and my sister to come back from their tour! And then after that we went to a bookstore and then we got some food at this place called community kitchen! That place was really good! I had a fried chicken sandwich and a butter apple cider drink! 

And then we went back on the train and we are now in Washington Park and now we’re heading to a cupcake store! We just left the cupcake store and it was good! This is the cupcake I got!

That was really good and I also got a hot chocolate with almond milk! 

Now we are walking around and then we are going to see Wall Street because I finally have seen wolf on Wall Street! I told myself that one I have seen the movie that I would like to go! 

Update @ 7:58: We didn’t go to Wall Street! We did go to the 911 museum and the memorial site! Then my back started hurting so we went to the World Trade Center! Here are some pictures!

Now we are at a play The Great Gatsby! 

It was really good!

The play is over and we went to get dinner kind of (I got to go dinner) at this place called Dim Sum Sam and it was so good! I got Chicken Dumplings! 🥟 (yummy) and Vegetable Spring Roll (not as good as I thought) and Scallion Pancakes! (SO YUMMY!) and a soda! 🥤 🥢🥡

Anyways now we are going to bed and we will talk to you tomorrow! PEACE! ✌️

Hey guys today is April 10th and today I had such a fun day! Let me tell you about it! 

So let’s start off with the morning. I woke up and went to Starbucks while my mom and sister went to another store! Then I saw this park across the street called Bryant Park it was nice!

After that we went to The New York Public Library it was right across the park! It was HUGE!!!

And there was also a huge lawn with a self driving lawnmower!

After that we went to Midtown Comics Times Square which was right by my Hotel! There were so many comics! I was going to get a hat but I thought it was a different one! Anyways, then we went back to the hotel to swap bags because I was carrying a purse that didn’t go on my shoulder well! So I swapped the bags and it was easier. So then we went on the train into the city more to get some lunch at La Pecora Bianca and this is what I got:

After a very filling lunch we went to Central Park and saw a famous Movie Scene place! Where did this Scene come from? (Hint: Marvel!) I was so happy that I found it! I looked for it for a while and I didn’t realize that it was above me!

After the we went to the famous Apple Store on 5th Avenue and I have pictures! It was HUGE! I have never seen such a big Apple Store and it was UNDERGROUND! It was so cool! I couldn’t believe it!

After that we walked around for a bit and went to a bakery that is famous for its banana pudding called: Magnolia Bakery and it was so good here is a picture

After that we also went to a place called heater Circle and I got a Les Miserables T-Shirt (my favorite play) I love that play and I would go 100 times if I could! Then we went back to the hotel room to rest until the play started at 7! So we got dressed and went to the play! The play was About Time and it was SO GOOD! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! 

So after that, we went to get some dinner because I was hungry, I had not eaten dinner before the play and I was starving. We went to Maison Patisserie! I go a Chicken Parmesan! IT WAS GOOD! I love Chicken Parmesan! Then after that we went back to the hotel and packed up our stuff to get ready for my flight that is at 7 AM! So we have to wake up super early! But anyways thats my day hope you enjoyed and I will talk to you tomorrow!

April 11th

Hey everyone today is a very busy travel day! So here is what I have been up too!

I woke up at 4:30 AM UGH! 😬 I am not a morning person! I don’t like getting up early because I’m super tired and I get stressed on travel days! 

So we got dressed and packed up what we had and left the hotel at 4:15 and headed to the airport for our 7 AM flight so we drove for 45 minutes ish and got to the airport at 5 AM and went through security easy thank goodness. Then we got breakfast at Shake Shack and got Hash browns! 

I didn’t even know they did breakfast and they were so good! But due to my anxiety I didn’t eat much however when we got onto the plane I did eat some cookies! I do land  around noon so I will pick up something later. Since I do have some free time when I get back home I think that I am going to get Starbucks and edit and have some time to myself! 

So as I’m writing this I’m watching The Devil Wears Prada and I have 1 hour and 40 minutes until we land! So we will see what I get done! 

So update I finished the movie and before I watched The Devil Wears Prada I watched Five Nights at Freddys 2 which was good DONT WORRY I WONT SPOIL IT!  Then I watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame and then I checked the time and I realized that I had about 30ish minutes left in the flight. 

I couldn't start another movie but I also didn't want to edit so I doom scrolled on TikTok for a bit and then I listened to some music and then we landed in SFO Airport around 10:40 ish and we got off the flight and headed to our car that was waiting for us and then we went on home!

Then we finally made it home at 11ish and went inside and saw the rest of my family. I was going to go out but it started to rain and I can't bike in the rain! So I took a shower and took a nap until 5:30ish and then I ate dinner which was a turkey sandwich. 

Then I watched a show with my family called Scrubs which is an amazing show and they just released a new season you should watch it! It’s on Hulu! Anyways, now im just chilling until bed time!
